What's in SmileSpark's whitening gel?
Our gel uses a 20% dental-grade hydrogen peroxide formula combined with organic aloe, calcium, and grapefruit seed extract as a natural preservative — no propylene glycol.
Does teeth whitening hurt?
Most clients feel very mild sensitivity at most — little to no discomfort during or after the session. In rare cases, mild sensitivity can occur, usually related to dehydration, and typically resolves within 24 to 48 hours.
Is teeth whitening safe?
Yes. Hydrogen peroxide is approved by the FDA and ADA for over-the-counter whitening use. Our sessions are performed by trained staff, and every client completes a consent form confirming they're a good candidate before treatment begins.
How long does a session take?
A full session is typically 60 to 90 minutes, done in back-to-back rounds with short hydration breaks in between to keep clients comfortable.
